Fast-Square expands its Customer base also in Asia and North America
Tube Investments of India (TII) is live with Coil Cut Optimizer (CCO) software of Fast-Square. The implementation has been completed in 5 Indian plants: Avadi, Shirwal, Mohali, Rajpura, Thiruthani.
This implementation, together with Canadian Customer Flexi Force Canada, confirms how Fast-Square is successfully completing software projects also outside Europe, brining value to its Customers all over the world.
CCO Solution in TII
Fast-Square software is covering two main Processes in TII. First process is the generation of Optimized Cutting Programs, minimizing “Trim-Loss” and “Setup” time for the slitting machines and Cold-Rolling of all TII plants. Second Process is the calculation of optimal width and optimal quantity of Master Coils to purchase, this last software module has been developed specifically for TII. The human planners of each plant are using CCO-Optimizer to plan the Cutting Schemas with minimal Scrap. CCO software is also optimizing the Master Coil Purchasing, simulating real cutting schemas already at purchasing time.
